The full owner of Favourite Things, (along with being a part time Granny, and full time Mum, and somehow still finds time to keep an immaculate household) Vanessa hails from the Emerald Isle of Ireland. She is a fully qualified Chef, and all-round hard grafter.

To honour her late Mum, Irene Cummings, Vanessa decided to move on from the kitchens and open her very own shop: Favourite Things, something she’s always wanted to do with her Mum. Since then her business has continued to grow and expand. The most notable brand she sells is a wide selection of Yankee Candle products.

Most days she can be found on Facebook lives, selling away with her heart and soul, and giving people an absolute bargain or two.

The Second in Command of the Favourite Things Dream Team. She’s the ultimate in back-up support, involved in the everyday decision making and ensuring her key role which contributes to the smooth running of the business.

Julie first joined the team quite early on at Favourite Things, and is a valued member of a small team, which just goes to show, with the right people at the helm a great foundation for a successful business, that is continuing to grow.

And last, but not least, we have this furry little fella, who is a very important member of the team and has been trained up as a Tech -Wizard, and given the fulltime job of overseeing all things related to the Favourite Things website (in exchange for cheese).

“He’s a mysterious level 30+ Mouse that was found chewing on the computer cables one day. So if anything goes wrong on the site, it’s probably because Mr Mouse chewed the wrong wire.”

Don’t worry, though, we guarantee it will be fixed with confidence, by Mr Mouse himself.
